Shake Up Your Cover Letter With This New Format

I am currently helping a number of my friends find jobs right now and one of the most valuable tips that they’ve picked up on is my secret weapon – the SUPER COVER LETTER! The reason why I came up with this format is that I had heard from many recruiters and HR people that most cover letters suck and unless the cover letter stands out, the resume doesn’t get read.

My format (see below and click on link for a downloadable Word version) puts emphasis on selling your best points and dispensing with the BS. Try it! It’s worked well for several of my friends in recent weeks and helped me land a full-time job last week.
